With its rectangular structure and large open space, this former smithy’s is characteristic for the NDSM neighborhood. The building’s tinted windows reflect its industrial surroundings and open views to sky and water. Inside, the floor to ceiling windows and open plan structure create light spaces for tenants Pernod Ricard, Greenpeace, Emolife, restaurant Brooklyn and Conferences. The Smederij also received a sustainability upgrade and now meets BREEAM certificate standards. As with all our properties, we believe that preserving the Smederij’s character is crucial to developing its future.
